garrett has been sayin' they're gonna bring these back since like 3 years ago... but the only developements have been the furthering of diesel applications. i think it's hopeless, and sucky too cuz if the iris breaks that's your turbo getting destroyed.

so can they do it with something else... not an iris... something more clever.
