O2 sensor

Dose anyone know how to change the O2 sensor on the Evo9. The one on the cat? It's doesn't look like there is a connector on the wire? what the hell?

I know on the VIIIs it is under the passenger front seat. It's probably the same on the IX.

02 sensor socket or 22 mm open end wrench will take it off...

The wire is pretty long, and is connected under the passenger/console area...

eh I used an 02 sensor socket so can't recall but I am pretty sure its 22mm

Well you don't need to take the connector out of the car, you just need to make sure that when you remove the 02 sensor that the wires do not get excessively tangled and be sure keep track of the number of turns you made with the wrench or socket, so when you put it back you won't under/over torque the sensor.

What exactly are you trying to install? A test pipe?

no no, just incase the O2 sensor is not good and needs to be replace. So I will know how to do it myself. You know don't want those Mitsu mech to mess around my car.

Just did the O2 sensor on the turbo housing and it was 22mm.
