what IF you skipped break in?

My evo is @ 3k miles now, and if I recall I accidentally revved to 7.5k a few times, and other times I revved to 7k around the 200-700 mile marker.... I was so used to driving a Honda S2k.... I didn't realize how fast I was going past 5k sometimes.... I can't recall how often, but since im still new to cars, will the damage be immediate? or what are the results?

The car still runs fine, do I have anything to worry about?

Some theorys of "break-in" say to keep pretty hard on the car for the first 200-300 miles to set in the piston rigs properly; but to stay away from the high-revs... But you should be fine I'd think.
