Well, concerning the issue of the new Evo9 turbo fitting into the evo 8 is fairly simple. All the oil and water line off of the Evo 8 work on the 9 compressor housing witha little, and I mean little ammount of bending. The biggest issue is the fact the my Helix lower intercoooler pipe is physically TOO big to accomodate the larger compressor housing/Starter interference. This is the only hurdle I have yet to overcome last night. Tonight I am going to be using the stock evo 8 turbo outlet and connecting it to the Helix pipe via a reducer. This will solve my clearance issue with the starter.

Hopefully by tonight or tommorow, the turbo will be in and purring.

Thats awesome, cant wait to see what that will do...I have been hoping for more tests and some results of that turbo in an VIII, to bad you couldnt dyno before and after just to get a better idea of the increase compared to the ol' butt dyno!

I did dyno right before the turbo was taken off just for that reason. I most likely will be re dynoing this weekend or sometime next week.

results will be posted ASAP.

Hey could you take pics of the 05 turbo and the 06 turbo next to each other so we can see the difference? Thanks
