I know I had a big part is "smack" talking on the other one. Shiv will be in OHIO on the 25th of this month, My car can be in OHIO on the 25th also! I think a great customer is an informed customer!!!
There are many out there trying to decide which is a "better" tuner for their particular needs, and I think something like this MUST be done. I think you David, and You Shiv, should go ahead with this tune/dyno, with NO excuses and or backing out. I think it will help the community as a whole, and it will help your companies also. It is NOT Shiv, or David calling out one another, it is ME!!! Mr. Joe Normal who's gotta know.
This will be done by Al and the Buschur shop, and Shiv and the Vishnu shop. Shiv will go out of his way to do this, and Al, we have to make sure your calander is free, and I will even pitch in for your lunch!!
We can make up rules, you Dyno the car, with my Methanol on or off, race gas map or not, and a pump-gas map. I can take the car out to the strip, "road-test" and objectively report back to my Evom. community!!! I wont know what tune I am driving on, like a double-blind study, or like the hidden "coke" can commercial tests we see on the tube. Then we can post the graphs, "collectively" review the plots etc...
I have to say one important thing. If ONE of you guys BACKS OUT, or fakes an injury, has to go to "barney on ice" that day, or whatever, I and the community as a whole will think there is something to hide!! Lets get it done, and make your customers better informed!!
Don't come up with reasons why this WONT work, think of reasons of how it CAN work!! I think both of you guys OWE it to the community that pays all our money to you for the parts/tunes!!
