Clutch That Can Handle 600whp
Stick with ACT. Do a search. Ive seen threads pop up ( none-recently i believe) about problems with Exedy clutches. Ive had exedy before on other cars and Ive never been pleased. They seem to half you know....
Cusco is a little costy for a street driven car
as is tilton which isnt much more different of a drive than the ACT.

You gotta be talking about the 6 puck. I've yet to come across any puck style clutch that is streetable. But the ACT XTSS is awesome (Xtreme PP w/ Street disc). Rated at 636 ft lbs. I have it in my car and its as smooth as stock. No noise at all, engages smooth, and its by far the most streetable aftermarket clutch i've ever had in any of my cars. It hasn't slipped yet w/ 25 psi on my 2.3 and GT35R combo. I'm going to find out this week if it can hold 30-33 psi when it goes on the dyno.
This is the clutch I will probably go with at this point.. The price is right, I dislike puck clutches and multi-disk clutches because I want a nice drivable car, slightly additional effort is okay, but grabby and quirky are not acceptable for me..
After doing additional research on this specific combo, It was an easy sale..

Only thing I dont like about the ACT is that it still uses an organic disc. Why not make a kevlar disc or carbon kevlar disc like competition clutch makes, you know something that can handle us EVO owners slipping the clutch. Any reason behind using an organic disc only?
