Thanks for the reply Al, I'll try and pick some plugs up from Mitsu tomorrow.
philthy IX - None of my spark plugs are cracked at all, but i have seen that in a couple other threads though. Yeah i had a misfire condition when i first bought my 97 GSX and it was the TPS, then i had it again when i did a 6 bolt swap but after getting the DSMlink it went away.

You cant use the BR7es plugs as they dont fit in the IX
I am not aware of any aftermarket plugs for the IX

Have you even checked the gap on the plugs?
Try closing up the gap to @.026 before you go throwing money at it. That has worked for quite a few people.

If the dealer is close to you, take it there and let them "diagnose" the problem.
They will pull the code and try plugs, injector, whatever it takes.
And it will be covered. At only 4.5 months and with no engine mods, you should have no problems.

Once you start doing high performance tuning the spark becomes more critical as there is more cyl pressure
The IX's are cars which can go 11's with the mods he has and the stock plugs are a very common service item once you start stepping up the tune
IMHO - in most cases when you deal with a dealer you get your car beat on and in many cases they dont know how to fix problems
Same problem
It happened to me 3 times when I was running the BPR7es gapped to 22. Boost at 25psi. The 7es made the car idle and run weird I had them in for about 2000 miles. Had problems on dyno with them Got new flash and put new set of 7es in got better. Next day put factory stock plugs back in and no problem car runs better with stock iridiums atleast with my car.
But have had the egr vaccum line come off on highway runs 3 times already, can't remember code tho. I just super glued it to the fitting

If the stock Plugs are Iridium, isn't gapping them going to damage the tip? I know on the NGK non Iridiums, they have a flat tip (Gapable), but on Iridiums, it's a cone shape triangular tip. Also you said you have the Buschur Stage one which consists of a Turboback right? Do you have a Cel Fix? I am running a testpipe on my IX and I have the Mechanical 02 Fix (Cel) and I have not gotten a Code.
