I just bought a set of HKS 264/272 cams. Haven't installed them yet. In fact I'm wondering how well the stock injectors and stock fuel pump will handle the extra volume. I'll be running nothing but good 'ol 91 octane California pump pee-pee. What do you guys think?

 

ungrade the fuel pump. While you are in there get headstuds!

Yeah get a tune to get the full potential from those cams.

 

you will be just fine on stock fuel system, but upgrade it if you continue to get more mods!

but you can make over 300hp/tq on stock fuel system.

the Key is tuning.

 

The car's been tuned multiple times by Mike at Gruppe-S with EcuTek. Of course I'll take it back after the cams are in.

 

Hmm on this subject when you get it installed how bad is your idle?

 

your idle will be fine. 280s is where the idle issues are at, unless you have an outstanding tuner.
