Oil Return Line, Need Help!

I found out this week that my oil return line that goes from the turbo to the oil pan has small hole in it. I went to the dealerships on wednesday to get it and they order it but as of now they will not have till monday. The problem is I have a dyno day saturday and I need my car together. I have couple questions, what is the oil return line made out of? Can I weld it? If I can't weld it, what are my other options? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am no expert on matter, but I would think that you may loose oil pressure under heavy load? Correct me anyone if this is false. I would re-schedule the dyno for another day just to be on the safe side. Just my opinion...

Well if I can weld it close, I should not loose pressure under heavey load, plus its a really small hole.

The return is not under "pressure"... it is a dump line back to the oil pan.

You can have it welded, as it is steel. There is no pressure on that line, as it is a return into the oil pan. If you don't have the time to get it welded, get some 5/8 id rubber hose (pref. fuel hose), and install it around the leak. Use a clamp to hold the hose to the return line. This will work as well, as long as the hole is not on a seam weld, or on the acordian style section of the return line.

Then there is always duct tape
