matt, you had problems with the br8es? or just the bpr7es?

i never had an 0300 until i put this utec on. if i would have only added the utec then i could
isolate the problem to it. but i also added alll that extra air into the cylinder, but, so far i haven't seen the 0300 with this SUN unit. im running the br8es plugs and stock wires.

I too purchased this unit from DeviantRacing. Had this in my car for almost a month now and it does what it's suppose to. I was able to gap my plugs to .028 boosting at 27 PSI with no misfire.

Can't remember the thread I posted it in, but I said I was going to use this unit when the car came back together...

i too have had the chance to talk to John at Deviantracing.com and really nice guy to deal with .. the sun auto hyperforce .. you wouldn't believe how easy the install was .. a true plug and play just like the DLI-2 and the best part is .. its not on back order LOL .. the unit comes with everything you need to install .. the brackets are fitted to your stock screw holes and no drilling, no mods needed ... the install time is prob 20mins if that .. great stuff ! great vendor !

I dont think I ever tryed the BR8ES , But it never fails , put in a new set of BRP7ES and po300 at idle about ever 20-30 miles . I never got the po300 untill the 272's/idelflash . In my small mind iam thinking that the protruding electriod bumps up the compressoin just a hair over the non protruding plugs and that with the idelflash is just to much for the knock/random missfire sensor('s)...

well, if you are running enough timing and boost to run 118mph in the 1/4 on the stock turbo, you really should go with the br8es plugs. quite a bit better for the car to fight detonation.

just a thought.

Here are the dyno graphs of before and after the sun auto hyperforce is installed.

The test was done on our awd dyno dynamics. The vehicle is an 06 evo ix w/ just 2.75 tanabe downpipe and HKS Hiper Exhaust.

After

I put this in my car late may when this thread was posted the car pulled so hard it wasnt even funny. Even with my turbo going out it pushed the car harder and harder. This is the real deal.

But now im going to put on the car a 42R so im really going to put this product to the test if it dont work ill try a dli if that dont work im going to use a one off setup im going to get.

I cant wait to try it.

I love this thing.. I too put it on and was lovin it from the start.. I also added the other two SUN products (ground, voltage) and they worked awesome together.. cant exactly tell you what kind of increase.. but the butt dyno liked the smoothed out idle and knock went down considerably with 93 oct. crap at 24-26psi..
