Exclamation Avid Racing!!!

Hey guys i know how excited you all get when new parts arrive for the evo. So here we go...

The highly anticipated Mitsubishi Evo Lancer OEM upgrade billet aluminum mounts have arrived. Made from custom Alcoa 6061 T-6 extrusions. Using state of the art CNC machines to produce the highest in quality. Here at, Avid our chemical engineers have tailored the polyurethane to meet the high performance needs of every Evo owner. The mounts are capable of handling up to 1200 HP and backed by a manufactures limited lifetime warranty. We offer 3 types of polyurethane at no additional cost – 62A (street), 75A (street & strip) and a 90A (extreme race). Also included all necessary hardware.

Here are the pictures:

We just want to get an idea of how many people would be interested in purchasing this item. We are possibly looking at a Group Buy for this item. So let me know your opinions and feelings on this part and this subject and hopefully we can get this GB started soon.

May 19 update! Price: $480 shipped!

*note other vendors on here are selling these fore BELOW cost, mind you this item we are selling is coming directly from Avid*

On a side note, Ryan at RnR just got a set he will be putting on his 750whp evo8 so as soon as he reviews them we will have a review for you all.

I would want the two side mounts as I already have the front and won't be doing the rear till I replace my clutch...

Price before a GB is going to be about 480 + shipping. But for what your getting its a small price to pay for such a quality item.

We worked very closely with Avid on their SRT4 mounts, and let us just tell you those made a worlds difference on the SRT4. And now with these being released for the evo, with the option of THREE inserts you can really dial in what you want. These WILL blow away the competition.

Like i said pricing for a GB will be posted in the next few days, which can drop these prices a good bit.

I am sure for the GB the prices will be in the right range. But there will only be room for 5 evom memebers.

Some like you would like to just put in inserts, but as you can see these are not just inserts.

Plus that 480 like i said is a rough estimate, realisticly its looking towards the 465 shipped right now just after getting off the phone with avid.

They look good, but just expensive as hell. I understand that the price for the quality is worth it, but it doesnt seem like it will sell as well as mounts that you can press in for a 1/4 of the price. If I went all the way in my car, I would prob get them.

Bump. Ryan at RnR just got a set for their 750whp evo. We should have a review from them in short time!

Coming from an Aerospace background, I'd say they "look" to be over kill (as in better than good). The quality was never so much in question.
