compression questions

where should my compression numbers be with 272/272 cams???

any help would be appreciated.

also, would a mini battery kit effect the outcome of the numbers??

and last but not least... how many turns/rev should it be before stopping?

thanks guys

I run right about 180 psi with 272s. Gauges vary slightly though. A low battery can certainly affect the numbers, escpecially by the time you get to the low ones. I have no experience with the small batterys, but you might want to let it charge a couple hours before doing the testing to help it out. I crank it until the needle stops going up. The number of revolutions to achieve this varies.

You stop after the 4th rev.

No more than that !! Should be no more than 15% diff. on #'s across .

nothing. if you are still making more pressure as the revs count, keep going until it stops going up. make sure you count the revs too so you can get an idea if one is sealed better then the other.
