i just got a HKS titanium muffler and a 3" hi flow cat. were ganna make a 3" mandrel bent system for my evo with it. does anyone have this exhaust on their evo? or on another car? how does it sound? also, this muffler is supposed to weight 3 1/2 lbs.

 

how much did the muffler cost you and where did you buy it from? Also please post pics after the install and a review.

Hope u have a turbo, because if you don't its going to slow you down. One of the guys from my crew has a revolution titanium with 3 inch piping. Its a deep sound but performance wise with a non-turbo he's slow on initial take off compared to my apexi n1 with 2 1/4 piping. The sound is tight though if thats what you going for.

Why not just buy full catback?

 

I have a HKS Hyper carbonfiber catback on mine. The exhaust that HKS makes r so nice. U gotta love the sound it makes when ur going aroudn 6,000 RPM.

 

i didnt buy a full cat-back, because i can have the piping made for about 100$ from turbo back. the muffler cost me 270 through my sponsor . ive been hooked up pretty nicely through them. btw, i have a usdm evo. also, we are waiting parts for the upper intercooler piping and were ganna powder coat it the same red as the valve cover. and then well have something to hook the hks bov up to. the exhaust, intake, and ic pipe should be done by friday... if things go right.

 

it started last friday with the turbo time, but i put on a set of 4 point harnesses a week earlier. were just waiting for parts to come in now.
