4 inch filter tearing

I've had my turbo kit in and I've been driving the car for 4 weeks now. I was checking over my car before going on a drive tomorrow morning and my air filter looks a little strange. I pulled it off and this is what it looks like...

Are any of you guys running a 4" intake having this problem at all?

I swear, just when I think my car is done, something else breaks...

Looks like there's a lot of forces being exerted on the filter itself, looks like it tore right where the clamp is. Make sure it's not resting on anything sharp where the air box used to be, this happened to a guy around here. Also make sure it's not getting hung up on anything when the engine is rocking back and forth, maybe when u get the new one take a look w/the hood open and have the wife rev it up and keep an eye on it.

Hmm, well it's pretty cramped under the hood there so It probably was the filter rubbing on something. It ain't easy fitting a 4" intake with a 9" tall filter in the engine bay. heh

I ordered a shorter air filter this time to hopefully clear everything, and I will probably also be removing my intercooler sprayer bottle.
