Hi everyone

I have an EVC installed in my car and I forgotten the password that I have set. I did a search and found this great post as follows:

'Now you need to set it up.
If you got it used, re-set it.
Turn on ignition (don't start car).
Push and hold PWR/SEL button on control unit. It will shut off.
Push and hold it again, while holding it, flip switch on back of control unit from SW to PO (or PO to SW).
Let off PWR/SEL button.
Flip switch back to original position. It will beep
Turn ignition off and back on.
Turn the power back on by holding down the PWR/SEL button.
Now set the switch on the back to proper setting.
SW for internal wastegate, PO for external.
Now it's re-set.'

I am confused with just one part. PWR and SEL are two different button do I just press one of them or both? Must the EVC unit be power off before pressing?

hold down both sel/pwr to turn off unit.

Thanks for the input....I tried and didnt succeed.... Went back to the HKS tuner yesterday and got it done....Thanks...
