That is a big turbo and it looks as though you have none of the supporting mods. This turbo will only hurt the performance of your car.
First you'll need all the basics TBE, Pump, Injectors, some type of tuning tool.
Im not exactly sure what it is your asking?

Return it, I thought this was for an Evo, that turbo wont even spool on lancer, not to mention you could only run a few pounds of boost that you wouldnt even see until 6500rpms.
This is not a street turbo.

So it's not worth it. As in too much of a turbo, or too little? I am so lost on this

So what kind of turbo should be good. Not those $500 that give you 600+WHP. Something to get me close to 200+WHP. I want to start slow, while I still learn about turbos

If you go the turbo route, get all your supporting mods first, then get a small street turbo thats efficient at low psi.
The turbo you have is pretty big and laggy...

LOL, statix, you cracked me up bro!! so that is a huge turbo uh?. Not to contradict you but that is in fact one of the smallest turbos in the market bro, it is a T-25, is what is fitted on the second gen Eclipses.. For real, don't get confused by the size, it is tiny.

Maybe you are trying to say that is more than enough for this car aplication since the Lancer would be able to boost much with little supporting mods and the turbo is capable of about 14psi eficiently..

LOL, have you ever seen a T25 , it's tiny. The most it could efficiently put out is around 14,15 pounds, and would spool up quick. Find a 2G Eclipse with a stock turbo and look at it before you start ranting about how its too big.

Try to find a kit with a small 16g or maybe a T3 or T3/T4, especially if you ever decide to build up the internals and run more boost.

So find a whole kit with a 16g, or just upgrade the turbo? I have the money for the Turbo, but not a kit, so this could be a small problem!
