Here is some more info coming from Buschur his setup is much
leaner then mine. What do you guys think now???

""From Buschur""

The AFR's are just sick. I am talking off the scale on our Dynojet over 5500 rpm, the richest it reads is 10.0:1, and it is buried past that. By bringing
them up to 12.0-12.5 the WHP jumps 30-40 hp on the top end. You will want to be careful on pump gas and getting close to 12.5.

I installed the Buschur turbo back this weekend. Got on the hiway and the CEL came on. It's been on since then. As far as running in "Safe Mode" I can't tell a differemce. Boost is set to 21psi and it still stomps a$$. Still waiting for the O2 simulators. Either that or back to hiflowcat, that's if the CEL stays of, or I should say SES.

Your CEL will be on until it's cleared out by a dealer. They need to plug into your car to clear the code. However, until you get the O2 sensor bypass, it'll keep coming on.

you can clear it yourself.... OBDII scanner or a pocketlogger will turn it off. However it will continue to turn on until the problem is fixed.

If the evolution is anything like a second 2gen GSX,
you should not worry about a CEL lite.

When I installed a cat-back from apexi on my 97 Eclipse
GSX (sold) it threw the cel lite, downpipe was one part
and bypassed the cat all together, I could not even install
a high flow cat. Performance stayed the same, later on
I build a CEL lite eliminator box, there is not much to it.

It has four wires that are soldered to an old O2 harness
2 wires faked the heated element and the other 2 simulate
appropriate voltage. (this is if you want to remove the
sensor all together) or if you want to leave the sensor in the
exhaust pipe you only have to simulate the voltage.

2 wires heat up the element (you can place a heat disapating
resistor here to simulate the heating element) 12-15watt 12ohm
or just keep the O2 in the exhaust pipe, and only wire 2 other
wires.

and the other 2 wires like this
1 M ohm resistor in serial and 1 uf capacitor in paralel

I installed the buschur 3" turbo back, boost controller, boost gauge, air filter, and Super AFC this weekend. From what I was told, the CEL will turn off when you unplug the battery, as long as the condition the triggered the CEL is resolved.

Nice, I'm takin the same route. I got the air filter coming and the S-AFC is gonna be installed this weekend. If you can let me know what your A/F settings are, our setups are identical.

Buschur has pre programmed S-AFC's. I wonder if they would be willing to give settings for folks that already have one?

My worries about the UR pipe is extending the O2 wires... Once they are cut they are cut..... No hiding that... IF you know what I mean.... I was reading that there is a way to trick the O2 sensor into reading right if you put a spacer in the bung.... So not much of the O2 sensor is exposed to exhaust gas..... Is this true at all?
