Yet another fluid thread!!!

According to the Mistu dealer around here (Mitsu/Hyundia/Suzuki actually), they use Quaker State now in the Evo's when they do services. I asked specifically for the stuff to use in my Diff and Transfer Case on a 03 evo and he gave me this stuff the says Hyundia on it for $15/qt which is label as GL4 75-85. He said it is manufactured by Quaker State for Hyundia. Any opinions? Take it back?? Use it??? I dont track my car, nor do i beat the crap out of it daily. Good romp here and there, nothing to serious.

We had a mitsu deal pull that crap with some other fluid with us, cost a transfer case. I would never use anything is the tc other than diaqueen lsd oil. And in the tranny then you can go with bg on penzoil syncromesh

USE it at your own risk.

Diaqueen inthe x-fer case, and syncromesh in the tranny and mobil 1 or amsoil in the engine for me.

Uhmmm.. interesting... Hyunday telling Mitsubishi what oil to put on their trannys and engine uh?

No sir, sorry, that does not work like that. Lets go back one step, Hyunday= Korea and Mitsubishi= Japan. Tecnology wise, Japan is way ahead.

Sorry about my bizarre analogy but I wouldn't never put any Hyunday product on my Mitsubishi car despite I know very well that some Hynday tiburon have the same Mitsubishi Eclipse engine(2.0 16 valve).

Use what Mitsubishi recommends, they have much more experience on dealing with racing cars, they know better. To me and for many many more years to come the South Koreans will continue to build imitation of other Western car manufacturers, as simple as that, not to mention they already copy every Japonese design...

just my .2c
