On my trip to the JGTC event in 2004 my cigaret lighter died on me. I must of fried it somehow. I checked the fuse and it was fine. Any idea what's wrong with it? I'm not a smoker so I didn't really care to use it for anything until I got a radar dectector for christmas. I'm afraid to take it to the dealer and hand them the key to my car. any sugestion.

 

Just get a new cig lighter, check out the junk yards for one from a crashed evo or lancer.

 

A test light will tell you if it is the lighter or the electrical system

 

I have the same problem. If its nothing electrical, can I just replace the Lighter part to make it work?

 

does this really belong in the "Evo Advanced" section of the forum? lol

 

haha... i was thinking the same thing. makes this site look stupid when an 'advanced' post is referring to a cig lighter.
