LICP or Intercooler Hose Kits???

Hi, guyz.

Well... I will be dropping my front bumper pretty soon to install HID's on my IX. While I am at it, I am also planning to do install either LICP or Samco Intercooler hose kits in addition to some T-bolt clamps. Although I would like to install both of them, I must pick one due to limited funds. As far as I know, LICP is supposed to give a few hp gains along w/ increased spool-up. On the other hand, Samco intercooler hose kits, which are made of silicones, do not expand or swell like stock rubber hoses under the boost and are more heat-resistant, thus adding the reliability factor to the car. I just can't decide which one to get, so little help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Rnm,

Do you have one on your car? If so, did you feel any noticable difference after the install? Thanks.

Yes I do. I have the fighters garage licp on my IX. I couldn't justify spending over $200 for a piece of pipe, so I went with this as its much cheaper ($145 shipped) and does its purpose.

I honestly couldn't tell a difference regarding power, but it does indeed spool up faster and makes driveability a lot better.

I like the sound of that. Thanks for your comments. Anyone wants to go w/ Samco hose kits?
