Talking No more MR nice guy! Parts installed.

I finally installed what I wanted:

Greddy Ti with carbon fiber bumper protector, HkS RS intake, HKS Intercooler.

I just need a flash.

His stock DV is plastic like yours. The JDM MR DV was only on JDM versions.

Luis, I caught it, but I refrained so as not to get banned after the wrath that would spew forth from my mouth.. He also said a flash is next, but a cat-back + intake + VTA BOV + FMIC is one of the worst mod combos I've seen yet. At least HKS parts are cheap...oh wait...

Regardless of what it will or won't do, you guys shouldn't come in here like and 'pre-bash' him. If these are the mods of choice for him, so be it, it HIS money.

I can't believe some of the nerve of you guys. You want more business, but don't have the intelligence to PM someone about how to make their car better. Rather, you come in and put down his purchase, or insinaute you could do better.

I am no Evo newbie, I know your reps, and you can back it up, but your tuning abilities, and your ability to get more business are on two very different planes.

Sorry for the rant, but that is just unwarranted.

.......on topic.

Enjoy your mods, but I would get a tune to take full advantage of what the parts can do.

quick question, why do the HKS RS intakes for my car and my friends 03 sit up at an angle?? is it cause of the IC piping that you have or is there a different revision for the RS intake??

STF, I'm not in business and have no customers. I also have already given this guy advice prior to his purchases, but he didn't care. He just wanted HKS regardless of how expensive and how little power he gets (or loses). That's fine - I just hope other newbies don't see the bling and make the same mistake.

Ok, that is a more clear picture. I thought this was totally unwarranted. And, I will concide, there is alot of 'potential' to go backwards with the Evo. I did it with suspension for 6 months, until I was able to get a decent spring/valve on the car.

No worries, you guys coming down to CMP this year for the Evo shootout?

I'm a one-man show, so there's no "you guys" in the Warrtalon show, but if you're talking about Buschur and the gang, I'm not sure. I hope they can make it down for the CMP festivities, but I'm in Colorado. CMP is a bit far for me, hah.
