HKS Camshaft Pricing Update- Brace Yourselves.

HKS has recently made pricing changes to their product lineup which will affect your modification costs.

Evidently the exhaust products have been a bit reduced in price.

Unfortunately the ever popular HKS camshafts pricing has been increased.

The MSRP on HKS cams is now $380ea, $760 both.

This is not TTP-Engineering pricing, nor other vendor pricing, but the suggested MSRP. To contrast, the suggested MSRP was $320ea, $640/pair.

My sole objective is to brace the Evo Performance consumer for the impending price hikes by HKS and prepare them to start hearing the new prices being quoted by vendors on Evolutionm.net. Vendor costs have been increased also so there will be no benefit to retailers at these higher prices.

You have been warned.

With Compcams on backorder, Evoers are left with little options for 280's that are reasonably priced and in stock.

the price of most basic commodities (like metals) have skyrocketed, you have to expect price increases on some products. Maybe they're growth in sales has been able to offset some of these price increases (ie. the more you make, the cheaper you can make a single unit) on common items, but others are going to be more expensive.

Commodities are going through a correction now, so maybe 6 months from know, the price will go back down.

Well, HKS can raise their prices...but it only bodes well for Buddy Club, GSC, and the other manufacturers.
