Hey everyone, my evo currently has 3k miles on it. I recently check the oil in it and it seems to be on a bit low level. I want to add about 1/4 of a quart oil in it but not sure what grade to add. Would Mobile 10-30 syntetic be ok to add to the factory oil? From what I heard, the factory oils has some special addatives, that regular mobile syntetic doesn't.

just fill it back up to the line with mobil one. It's not a big deal at all. Congrats on the car.

 

I'd recommend you do an oil change if your on the original oil from the factory.

Mobile 1 10w-30 syn is fine.

 

Why? After reading many posts, I thought the final ruling was that you should stay with the original oil till 5k.
