tanabe exhaust?
i have had a Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper on my CRX in the past, and it was AWESOME. it wasnt loud and obnoxious, and sounded awesome.
But for my MR, im still stuck with my decision..
Evo2
APS 3.5"
HKS CarbonTi
Tanabe Medalion touring
im not so sure i want the salad shooter look anymore so im in the process of ruling out all but the medalion touring.
i called tanabe usa the other day and they said they should have some in stock by the 19th!
i found some clips on the tanabe website:
http://www.tanabe-usa.com/soundclips/evot_out.wmv
http://www.tanabe-usa.com/soundclips/evot_ind.wmv
the other exhausts arent exactly ruled out, but im leaning towards the tanabe as of yet.

i have a tanabe DP on ... i will be selling it shortly if you are interested. it has the egt bung in it. i am getting a buschur dp to go with my intercooler so i need to get rid of it... i will let it go relatively cheap. PM me if you are interested. It is on my WW IX.
but to comment, throttle response seemed almost instant after i put it on

It looks like all of the Tanabe exhausts are really tucked inside the bumper. How does the location of the tip compare to stock? It looks in the pictures like it's further inside the bumper than stock, but it's hard to tell.

haha thats true.
The concept G actually makes a lot of power. in the new Import Tuner they did a powerpages on a WRX, it made around 30 wheel with just the concept g blue turboback.
it should make a lot more power for our cars..

Yes, many people still ask about the G Power. It was one of our most famous exhausts from the 90's.
All of the new Tanabe exhaust systems were designed and tested on US vehicles, so they conform to US spec bumpers. The picture of our exhaust of the medalion touring installed on our site is on someone who has a veilside kit.
Here's a picture of the Concept G Blue installed:

They don't stick out of the bumper, nor are they too far inside the bumper-- they are more flush along the lines of US bumpers. You can see it better in the attached photos of the rear bumper's profile, to get a better idea of how they will sit on your car.
