I put a Forge BOV on my car, and I couldn't drive my car normal. It would sputter like crazy. I would adjust the stiffness of the spring also, that didn't help. And it also wasn't letting boost raise above 15psi for whatever reason. I put the stock one back on and I'm running fine.

I'm running 30psi tapering down to 28psi and the stock bov is fine.

Just stick with the stocker. I don't know why you keep mentioning the Greddy over and over. The stocker is great and costs you nothing.

9xfaster, the Forge BOV can't make you only run 15psi, so that was a faulty install.

Do you mean "initially"? I don't see how the Tial would even come into the equation - it's made for big turbo setups running VTA. The Greddy...well, the only reason that would come up is because of its brand name. If you upgrade, get a Forge RS or APS - preferably the Forge since it is 100% recirculating.

Just go with the APS, its a great piece, everyone who has it loves it, just get that one and you'll be very happy!

O ok well like I said its a recirculating BOV therefore you wouldnt have any problems. The vta is a recirc BOV. So basically its the same as the stock 1G evo 9 BOV . You basically waisted your money dude.

Well yeah because the stock evo 9 bov DOES THE SAME THING. If you have a 8 I would buy the oem evo 9 BOV. Thats just my opinion.

2muchboost, even if you don't feel the symptoms, you are venting metered air, which is causing your ECU to provide more fuel and thus a rich condition between shifts. That is not good for performance.

Ohh.. I see what you're saying.. The hks is good for holdinging high boost, I don't really want to get rid of it. Could I not just recirc it?? By the way. If vta is not good for our cars why do so many people use them? I've seen 400hp time attack cars and 600hp drag cars with vta bov's? Why do they use it? {I'm just wondering} thanx..

Because they use MAP instead of MAF. Do a search on it.
