Do any vendors sell valve covers for the evo8?

The dealer and ebay. I think an evo 6 and 7 valve cover will work also

not easy to find... I called my local dealer and they located on in CA from another dealer... $$$! Did you over tq yours?

hehe, did you crack it from over torquing? We have gone thru a few dsm valve covers just from using manufactoring torque specs

Actually it started as an oil leak. The gasket into the #2 spark plug was the culprit. I don't know for a fact that over tightening is what cracked it. (I didn't hear it crack) I'm just assuming it's from over tightening. Tq specs call for ~5# and I had tightened it to 10#. Granted that's double the spec, but I guess I didn't think 10# would crack it
