forge mbc and spiking issue

first off, thanks for gettin rid of zemehl
I would assume, as mentioned above, that the mbc would not care about the gear it's in, just how much pressure it takes to push up the spring and ball, so if you have it set at 21psi in 3rd, then at 21psi in first, it would open as well?

^ Are you positive that you have the spring seated correctly? There is one end that is larger that is supposed to hug around and fit snugly onto an internal part of the MBC.
When I first set up my MBC I just had the large spring in there are had the same problems as you, because the spring wasn't seated. I broke it open and seated the spring and since have had no problems.
