Help!! Engine hesitate and misfire
another misfire issue here...
I didn't really wanna start a new thread so I thought i would just add onto this one. I just changed my spark plugs for new ones.. checked all my intercooler pipings.. checked the manual boost controller tubes... adjusted it to less and more like he did to see if that would help and nothing.. at around 5500 rpm or 6000 rpm it just seems to have that misfire thing he seemed to be experiencing. any other ideas as to what the problem could be? any input would be great.

I just recently started to have this problem too, but i have COP ignition and stock plugs, by stock i mean the originals from 03, the car only has 11 thousand miles on it, i figuered they would be fine, so maybe i will just sell my 8 and all the performance parts(PM me if you need a turbo kit or stand alone) and get a 9

DO not listen to whoever told you that was too much boost for no fuel pump and no injectors - that person was dead wrong. 1.35psi is STOCK BOOST! Also, you need to get retuned after adding the fuel pump if you want to be optimized. You should sell the SAFC and get a basic $199 mail-in flash. You'll be much happier.

no SES lights either, I was doing some runs in my car today to narrow down the problem, and it will sputter when it hits boost in first through third, but not in fourth and it is only hitting 19 psi?? So i am goin to try plugs and in nothing then i am at a loss...

I changed the spark plugs to the stock ones. Reset the computer. Took a spirited drive. The problem seems to go away now. I think the problem was I didn't reset the computer after installing the fuel pump. Dumb me.
