Intercooler holes and intake holes

First off, yes i searched, nothing really matches this material that i am looking for. So if you dont have anything to say that will help out, dont say anything at all.

With that aside, long story short... My JDM BOV on my evo8 broke. I was taking it out to change out my intercooler piping and boom, dropped it and broke the POS plastic bov. My friend gave me his old bov that is VTA. I know VTA isnt the way to go and it's only temporary for now. But since my car is a daily driver i cannot afford to not drive and wait for another JDM bov to come. So i'm hooking this one up for now. Now, my question... With my new intercooler piping there are holes where you are supposed to weld the BOV on, well obviously this is only temporary so i dont want to weld it and i plan on just bolting it on in a place that i have found. Now, Is it going to hurt anything with me driving it with the hole in the turbo inlet and intercooler piping? the first place i woudl go is to find a cap or somethign to put over the holes. Just let me know and any 411 you can give me would be nice. Thank you
