Oil change ?

My car is due for an oil change, But I am not going to be driving it for the next 3 months. should I change it now and let the new oil sit, or change it when I get back? No one is going to be driving it really. Just running it in my garage or a trip to the store.

six of one, half dozen of the other. It really wont matter. Do it now if you have the time. Its not gonna hurt anything sitting for 3 months.

Well I may have the wrong idea here. The last sentence says it will be running in the garage or maybe going to the store. If you not driving it all all you can let it sit but even letting it run in the garage or going to the store, I would change the oil if its overdue.

Is it Mobil 1 and how many miles does it have on it? Are they mostly highway miles or stop and go, or worse yet the dreaded track usage?

change your oil, dont let it set in your motor.
as alot of people know, after your filter is full dirt, it bypasses it self to keep the oil presure up..
