Parts to rebuild Exedy Twin

Anyone know where I can get the parts to rebuild the exedy twin disc??? Looked through the vendor forum and didn't see anything.

Try MattGold. He is very knowledgable about these clutches and am sure he could supply you with what you need.

You should need
1x DM13DA Clutch disc #1
1x DM13DB Clutch disc #2

and maybe

1x IM01 I.M Plate

that is of course if your flywheel is still good

ben, do know anyone who can resurface the pp and idler plate on these. ive got a exedy sd and scortched the pp and idler plate. the disks are a little glazed but still mic out to 3.88 -3.91 on both. is it possible to have the other iteams milled and resurfaced? thanx billy

Matt Gold is at *** imports or something like that. I got mine rebuilt also 500. discs and resurfacing!

great thanx. ill try a search on dogpile . sucks 1500.00 and 2000 miles and im rebuilding the darn thing.

I beat the snot out of mine, and I still haven't needed the rebuld I have. Maybe it was installed wrong?

how come none of the vendor are offering rebuild services ?
I'd think there would be a bunch of people interested.

after taking mine apart it was pretty bad. the idler disk and pp has hot spots (mild ones) and disk material bonded to it. i heated 3 hot spots completly through the PP. i think it was installed wrong and not disengaging the whole time ive had it. i found *** imports web site. ill be calling tomarrow to see if they do anything for me. i hope to get the clutch worked out before the trans gets back from shepard racing.

I think it was an install issue also. Matt will tell you what path to take now! Good luck!
