Exedy twin Carbon D-Core installed

First 400miles of use:

No decel noise
No noise in neutral
Noise when I press the clutch pedal in neutral. shhhhhhh
Noise when I press the clutch pedal changing the gears. shhhhhh

Driving in the city: Simply, it is like my stock clutch. Smooth.

Pedal effort: The same as my stock clutch or 5% maximum stiffer.

Changing the gears: The same as my stock clutch, I didn't notice an improvement or faster changes.

My stock clutch (complete)weight: 13,1kg
Exedy D-Core (complete) weight: 12,2Kg

Spirited driving... I will post soon

Changing the gears at the redline 7300rpm: Ok and easy, better than my stock clutch.

The only and serious problem is that I have slippage at 4th and 5th gears.

This is very weird because this clutch holds 68Kgfm or 491lbf-ft / 600Hp "crank" and my car is 350hp / 47Kgfm or 339lbf-ft "crank" only.

Some advice?

What do you mean by slippage? There should be absolutely no slippage with a new clutch unless there was a defective part or a bad install.

The only thing I know is that CARBON clutches need a warm-up procedure before an agressive drive. This is written on the Exedy owner/instalation manual.

yea it will slip until your warm it up. Welcome to the world of Carbon exedy clutches. Thats how its gonna drive unless you warm it up. To get it to grab you gotta heat it up. And once you heat it up it will grab for a few mins, then it will slip again. After about 3-4 weeks of driving or around 3000 miles the clutch will be completely shot from you warming it up all the time. Or you can just deal with it slipping all the time.

aggresive is a huge overstatement. If you go WOT in 4th or 5th thats enough load to slip it. Eeventually it will start doing that in 3rd gear too.

From an undisclosed top EXEDY contact, I have reason to believe that that unit is crap.

Simply they advertise 68kgfm capacity and it simply is not enough clutch to grab 47Kgfm!

I trusted in the world largest clutch manufacturer and they come with THIS ****!!!! OMG
