Question Anyone looking to get the NEW SBR turbo kit 451awhp???

just floating around the sites, and managed to find that slow boy just released thier kit that produces 451 awhp w/cams and over 400 w/o cams... seems impressive to me!! One question though, how much HP can my IX 20g handle before it would be neccessary to upgrade my turbo, i mean i imagine that it must be able to produce more power than a stock VIII right? $3500 sounds good for the power though.. time to start saving

$3500??? No way.

Your 20g-9-5 (if you have a 20g-9-5) can do probably 430whp with cams and alky. Did you actually upgrade your stock turbo to a 20g?

I am not seeing that much power from the 20G Turbos. The fastest one I have seen hit a 119MPH trap other then the Buschur Car of course.

As far as a Turbo kit go with either a 50Trim for daily driving power (Turbo Trixx recenbtly hit 450WHP on pump 93 octane no Alky!) and a Gt35R which is a lil laggy but packs a HUGE punch and will grow with you as you mod your Evo.

no i still have a bone stock evo... didnt touch my turbo got other things in mind b4 that i guess, but what then will my stock IX turbo hold then 400-450 max? im planning on doing the KTR alky kit, and a few other things.. maybe i can get there eventually with a good tune.

Also, anyone know any trusting people to tune my evo in the Pittsburgh Area? willing to travel up to 200 miles max, if its worth it!!

you do not have a 20G-9 if your turbo is the stock turbo. It is a 16g

if you want close tuning Buschur is not far away. However go with small mods at first and see what fits you best. TBE, tune, etc. There are A LOT of options out there.

SOOON after ALKY and a TUNE!!! how much does it cost for a custom dyno tune at buschurs shop... found out its 189.5 miles away, and 3 hours 3 minutes... after i do the mods ill then get the tune, a nice custom one just for my car so its running at its best

well i already thought of that, but didnt know how to ask about it...

i would absolutely love to have it running strong, then have a custom map for race gas.. i have 3 options, sunoco 3 miles away has 104 unleaded, and the sunoco 2 miles away has 110 and 112 at the pump leaded though i wont have a cat anyways, so it truely wont hurt that bad will it? besides, its only like katrina hit again, $5.25 per gallon for that stuff...

I imagine my numbers would be significantly higher with race gas ehh?

let me know what you think

get that turbo kit, 20g is junk and let not start another thread on it like it's not has been beating to death already. There's no short cut to making real power. You got to pay to play bro.
