Wait for the GSC 280s to start getting in cars and getting dyno'd or on the track to verify gains, then think about getting them for a mere $599 shipped.

For now, slap on a Buschur ported/coated stock manifold, Buschur coated o2 and wait for the cams. If you absolutely must do the alky now, then go for it - it works great. Once you have the alky and are running big boost daily, then an FMIC will be more useful.

Jeff, the alky nozzle gets plumbed into the UICP right before the throttlebody...

1blackevo9,

I recently(last week) bought my second alcohol kit for one of my other turbo cars. I did a extensive search. At first I was just going to get a budget kit for less than $249 but then realized that I must add a decent tank with flow level warning light, then a controller and so on.

After using my already bulletproof SMC kit I thought that I couldn't go wrong by having the same kit again, so I ended buying one.

For price, quality, features and performance I believe the SMC kit is a great starter, yeah you will find that Aquamist offers more fancy ones but the SMC does the job well.

That is my feedback and stay tune as I will be posting pics of the installtion(again) and I will be also posting dyno results(again).

Carlos

I'm considering an alky kit as well. What do you guys think about this kit?

Devil's Own

Add a 4 quart tank for $40.

Does not matter which kit you go with, just have failsafe to go along with it. Your car will thank you in the event that something goes wrong with your injection system. Do your research!

you don't need headstuds but if it makes you feel safer than go ahead. I just advise against opening the factory seal on your motor.

i was always under the assumption that at meth boost levels the factory studs can stretch, and i think its cheap insurance

I have heard many different opinions on the headstuds, one thing I can say is that I have never seen the factory headstuds fail but I have seen many arps fail...
