Exclamation Help with my drivetrain

the car : 2003 Lancer Evo 8

so this all started with a clutch change

My bro changed the clutch on the evo with an aftermarket one, later on that day we saw oil coming from what seemed like the Driveshaft?!

We ignored it. Later on that day, it started to sound like if i was dragging something, pull over, check the car...NOTHING!

weird, i thought...A block away from the house, the car seizes on me! it wont move at ALL! Damn, i thought..."what now?" i park it, forcing it.

come back next day, and see the same puddle of oil on the floor, odd.

turn the car on, and it moves?! ok. So i just parked it for 3 months now. Finally decided to work on her. Driving it into my drive way it "clunk's" all the way in.

i lift the car, follow the DIY here on this site, and thats when i came to this:

I opened the wrong screw and see that the screw is filled with metal shavings, alot. And i was just wondering if i should take the "driveshaft"(im just going with what i was told) out and have it rebuilt? can it be rebuilt? This is NOW my only car, and i have to get her running. or if anyone in SOCAL has one for sale let me know.

I have added an image to help with story.

Do i have to remove the engine to remove that?!

i dont think it has anything to do with the driveshaft.
now it may be the tcase or transmission. by the picture above, it seems like you where leaking transmission fluid. the tcase ring might have been torn during removal of the transfer case.
its ok to see some metal shavings from the tcase. even when i drained my rear end fluid, there was slight metal shavings on the plug.
drain out your trans fluid and check if they are BIG metal chunks on that plug.

to remove the tcase, you dont have to remove the engine. however, you have to remove the front and rear mounts and jerk the engine back and forth and HOPEFULLY it will drop.

It sounds like you leaked all of your transfer case fluid out and completely destroyed the transfer case. Remove your transfer case and send it to shepracing.com to be rebuilt (it may not be rebuildable however). Heres a tip: if your car is leaking fluid, DON'T DRIVE IT. In the above photo, it definitely looks like mitsubishi GL5 transfer case (& rear diff) fluid. This is probably going to be quite expensive to fix.
