Whining Noise - Drivetrain/Clutch Related?

I have noticed that there is a noticable whining noise that I can hear in the car when my foot is off the clutch and it's out of gear. As soon as I push in the clutch, the noise goes away. I can also hear it when I drive in first and second gear.

When I have the foot off the clutch and it's out of gear, I can easly hear the noice in the car, however, when listening under the hood, I can't seem to locate the same noise, nor anywhere else outside the vehicle.

I am hoping you all can point me in the right direction. Who knows, this may be nothing to worry about.

The car does have a braided stainless steel clutch line and ACT street disk clutch. The rotating assembly was balanced with flywheel/pressure plate to 1/10th of a gram about a year ago or so.

Sounds like your clutch throwout bearing, which is normal for our evo's to be kinda noisy.
