AMS 50 trim dyno chart
I have the boost graphs of my car stock along with the hp/tq readings from a dyno dynamics. I will try to find them when I get home so we can compare that to see where the stocker reaches full boost and peak torque.
Hey Warr. I'm sorry man, did not mean any harm by my statement, I just get annoyed sometimes by people just jumping all over someone, so my apologies. I thoughts that what you and Scorke were going to do.
My car is almost done, literally it's on the dyno at AMS with all supporting mods and the 50 trim, I guess i will be able to tell you soon enough. I should have a dyno sheet for tomorrow or thursday.

If you have a dynograph of an FQ360 where the torque spikes at 3200rpm, I'd love to see it. However, that is not a USDM IX. Almost all of the IX dynographs I've seen here on EvoM had peak torque around 3800rpm while most people try to claim spoolup at 3000rpm. It's simply not true, because they're basing it off watching their tach while driving and some try to make claims based off 5th gear (obviously more load).
Do Dynapack dynos or other hub-based dynos read torque differently then because of the wheels not being attached?
My dyno chart shows I have 330 ft/lbs at 3100rpm and then 335ftlbs at 4400rpm or something. Its pretty flat in between but then goes up a little, its weird.

Bakari, I think that is a wise choice indeed.
GGrey, yes if your torque doesn't climb until 3800, then you are not hitting full boost at 3000rpm. What do you think happens between 3000rpm and 3800rpm? Show us your dynograph to demonstrate full boost at 3000rpm. That would mean you'd have 250+wtq by 2500rpm or so...
That thing hit peak TQ at the same RPM as my 3076r.
My number at the time were 376whp/311wtq (AMS dynojet) w/ the stock 2.0 motor at 20lbs boost running thru cat.
I recently had the BR motor & head installed, the tune was fat a bit too conservative IMHO, but that's the way Dave set it up. It pulled 345whp/314wtq on BR Mustang Dyno again thru cat. I believe boost is at 21lbs.
Peak TQ of the 2.3 seems to be at 4500-4600 rpm still but this is on BR dyno so I can't really compare the numbers. I will have the car redyno at AMS towards the end of August as well as adding an Alky tune.
My guest is that the extra .25 L will only speed up spooling by about 400-500rpm at the most. The net effect, however, will be a bit more positive since you got the extra TQ from the motor as well. The combination of the 2 make the setup a lot more livelier than just a 400-500rpm earlier spool.

50 Trim on 2.0
AMS 35R with 2.3 stroker on 91 and c-16

Warrtalon, you are wrong on this one. Using your logic, are you saying that I hit full boost (20psi) on 91 at 4400 rpm but don't hit full boost (30 psi) on C16 until 5300rpm? I can tell you that it doen't take 1000rpm to build those last 10psi. That happens almost simulatneously within a couple of hundred rpm max.

Peak boost = 3400rpms:
Peak torque = 4000rpms
Most of us don't frequent the Vishnu forum, so most of the graphs we see do not show boost vs rpm.
The load on the DD is going to move the numbers more to the left than a Dynojet as already stated, but that is a drastic difference between where your boost spikes and the torque hits - it doesn't look right at all. What setup is that? It's not your current one, so I'm guessing it's on the stock turbo.

You should check out the Vishnu forum once in a while. Shiv always has tasty dyno graphs for us to google over =)
That print-out looks like an 03 EVO Stage 1+
The C16 looks equivelant to an IX's power with just exhaust.
