Single clutch

Hello there guys. Im planing on getting a single clutch uprade with a flywheel. But the thing is that i heard that the ACT sinle clutch locks you out of gear above 7000 rpm. is that true? if it is then what should i get? i dont want a double clutch cuz its to expensive. ill be fine with up to $800. what do you guys sudjest?

ACT is fine when adjusted right. Or you could just get 6/4/3(RalliArt) puck.

LOL hay funny guy SmikeEvo. I did use the invisible search button. But there were no sudjestions on a good single clutch. Would a six puck clutch work fine for DD? and if yes were can i find the Ralliart clutch?

I know a bunch of guys using a puck clutch as a DD. Takes some learning at first, but they like it.

If you really want the RA - PM EvoGLH - he has the RalliArt 3 puck. He can tell you all about it.

EDIT: Ill add though, using a heavier duty cluctch will put more stress on other parts i.e. trans parts, etc. Id rather have my clutch blow v. my trans going...just some more food for thought.

I am aware that there will be stress on other parts of the car. But i do not drive my car had at all. I rarely lanch it.

im in for it also my car just let the stock clutch go at 73k miles. I would like something also that doenst lock out after 7k cuz i find myself there quite often on the weekends.
