Question Question about going from stock TB to 75mm TB on a SMIM...

If I have a Magnus SMIM that's drilled for the stock TB... and I wanna upgrade to a larger 75mm TB... and I drill 4 new holes for the 75mm TB and bolt it to the SMIM w/ a gasket... is it safe to assume the inner 4 holes that were used for the stock TB will properly seal against the gasket and not leak?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but you ill have to open the hole up on the IM in order for everything to flow properly....

when you get the 4 new holes drilled, can't you get the 4 old holes plugged and grinded?

That would be the safe move.

It should be pretty easy for any good machine / fabrication shop to do that.
