It could be messed up, or it could be something you've overlooked. I'd love to help by troubleshooting it in my garage.

I'm not surprised Injen and the place you bought it blew you off, because this does not happen with anyone else who uses that intake. Sure, it throws off the MAF readings and gives you an erraticly running car until you get tuned, but it doesn't case base wastegate pressure.

Sure, just let me know when you're in the area on RMEVO.com.

Go meet up with a knowledgeable evo owner around you. Have them look at your boost lines. It is not altitude. Also if you think that your intake is defective and not letting in enough air, you can just discount all of the lines to the BCS and go out and drive. You will hit way over 12psi.

I hate to give my two cents but I just bought this intake with the hard pipe kit. I had a TurboXS one when I installed my MBC. It seems that from the sounds of it you did what I did and some how the hoses may be crossed OR you pinched one of the lines. I HAD the SAME EXACT Problem and after moving the lines around it fixed it's self so to say.

My advise which has been said a few times in this thread is get a MBC (Halman FX pro, had the turboxs and the ball is stuck) and disconnect the BCS.

I have seen this intake on countless Evos and they all work just fine.

You dont need a MBC. The intake was just installed incorrectly.

This thread is nearly a year old also.
