I'm looking to buy an `06 Evo IX and currently have a `03 VIII with minor mods. Will the down pipe, hi-flow cat, cat-back exhaust from my VIII bolt up to the IX? Seems like a stupid question, but I want to be sure. Thanks!

oh, yeah, if it does I need a stock exhaust starting with the cat.

 

please search... you should know better.... ofcourse it bolts up, if the DP fits an 05 it will fit the IX

 

Thought so, my head just hasn't been on straight for the past few months (got married two weeks ago!). Thanks for the reply.

 

the dp will fit if its not a 3" unless its the WORKS dp. as far as the cat and catback, everything will bolt up no problem. the only thing different is the o2 sensor placement. on the IX the o2 is on the cat itself.

 

The J-pipe donut is larger on the IX. That's about it (besides the 02).
