Axle and Driveline Strength?

How strong are the axles and drive shaft? Can they take a beating. I'm asking because this was a major issue with the DSM cars. Especially, the GVR4's with their 3 bolt axles (very weak)?

Well, there are 4 bolts on the evo drive shaft if that helps. There are cars out there with +450whp and more with stock axles and drive shaft so I guess it's pretty solid. I don't think I've heard of anyone breaking any of these parts without involving an accident or retarded driving and in most cases, it's the tranny that gives up at over-enthusiastic launches.
If you're taking it rallying and so on, just check the boots on the driveshafts often and you shouldn't have any problem, I guess.
