o2 housing now or wait for a hotside?

I got my o2 housing in and plan on installing it sometime next week.

will I notice any kind of increase in power, etc. just from the o2 housing or will I have to wait for the hotside to notice any increase?

reason I ask is a cohort of mine that owns a shop here in town is telling me not to waste my money on a hotside, and just save up for a bigger turbo if I want to spend money on the turbo...

I've already got a Tanabe 3" TBE...and I figured the stock o2 housing is the only part in the exhaust system that's not 3".

So not really any noticeable gains from the o2? Damn.

thats not true. you will see gains from just the o2 housing. I just makes more sense to install an o2 & hotside at the same time. That would be like putting a new clutch in and not replacing the TOB...

I just did the 10.5^cm hotside & megan o2 this weekend. Trust me when I tell you to wait and do them both, you will feel a huge difference.

*sigh* okay guess I'll wait. I'm with you on the "you'll be in there anyway" I'm just impatient and hate seeing something sitting in a box that could be put in.
