I need a device so I can actually listen for knock so I can properly tune my car. I have been getting a ton of false positive counts of knock on my car. I have solid motor mounts (power flex), no balance shafts, noisey clutch (tilton hybrid), and my downpipe is hitting my oil pan.

 

check the snap-on catalog, they have a nice unit W/ multiple mic/pickups & an in car switch so you can monitor diffrent positions on the motor

 

an electric stethoscope will cost you 250 + I know I use them.
