Which clutch should I buy

My frickin stock clutch is slipping after 20,000 miles, I haven't even driven the car that hard.

Anyways, I plan on slowly modding my Evo and it probably won't have a GT35R on it for at least years. Should I go for the big clutch now, or will the clutch I buy now probably have to be replaced by that time (In which case I'll buy something cheaper). Anyone have any thougths?

I usually answer questions like this, but when I decided to get MY clutch, I looked around quietly, and did some research myself. I am getting tired of these same questions always popping up, without ANY research effort on the one asking the question. (If you did, you would have your answer) This is like me posting a thread "which comb-over looks better on me?"

Really getting tired of answering this question, and it depends on what YOU want, not what WE want for you. Contact ACTman, and ask him, or do your research. More inexpensive but great clutch ACT, more expensive but also great clutch EXEDY twin.

Before you ask a question like this again, PLEASE:

Since you have AMS stage 1, that is the shop you should stick-with, and use their recommendations for your clutch. my 2c.

Like smokedmustang said... It really depends on you... If you are going to be doing future mods then Yes, choosing one will be hard.... I really like the act, but i also heard that the Exedy twin is better than the ACT but really $$$$$$$$$$.... Couple questions will pop up in your head, which one and which one can i afford and which one will perform better for my new mods... I choose the ACT... had it in my Honda loved it.... Thats my opinion though... Find posts of what works for people and what doesn't.... Then your answer will be answered.... But if you are going to go with the 35r in the future then i would go with the Exedy Twin... And AMS will glady help you with that.... My 2 Cents.....!!!!!!!!!
