my car is doing this funny thing (evo9).
3rd gear pull, the boost goes to 1.4bar and almost immediately goes down to 1.1 bar and goes back up to 1.3bar and by reline it's at 1.1 bar.

Anyone know what could be the cause of this?

I just have a catback on the car, that's it.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Possible boost leak unless your clutch is slipping.

 

I dont think it's the clutch.
Clutch grabs fine.
This only happens on 3rd and 4th gear.

 

check the wastegate actuator
