now there is another perfect example as to why a new thread is never a wasted thread. he saw it, you started b/s, i responded, he than had a question...

and that question was also asked in the other 72 threads.

just get the parts and put them on. you will see gains but get a tune or flash for optimal gains. also you may want a 10.5 hotside if your evo has a 9.8 on it.

do you have a d/p? cat delete pipe? i dident see your mod list.

ok so you got an 05 evo. so no need for a 10.5 hotside. but get it ported while sending out the manifold and o2. you got a tbe in your sig so there for your set to go after a nice tune. yes you will now see some nice gains.

HKS RS Intake
Perrin Front Mount w/ short route piping w/ Greddy RS BOV and Turbo XS MBC
GSC Cams 272ex 272in

no hopes for a cat delete pipe? that will show you nice gains as well. then add the parts i said and parts you want and you should see some nice gains after a good tune.

Yeah, Buschur recorded about a 15 whp gain with the Ebay O2 housing alone, in his Dyno Thread. The ported manifold and a ported HS should add a bit as well. All told it should be at least a 20 WHP increment, plus some collateral gains, like improved spool-up and reduced back pressure. Go for it!
