ix turbo installed=>03 evo/comparsion(pic)

i just installed a ix turbo into my 03 evo yesterday(didn't have time to post i was a bit tired) well everything went well and the turbo was a direct fit except for the water line in the back and the oil line that goes to the head...keeping in mind that the ix turbo i bought from kris(evom member) included the outlet pipe, oil and water lines...all you really need to do is bend the oil line to line up with the head...as for the water line all you need to do is cut(or buy) the rubber hose that fits the gap difference(its shorter, maybe only an 1 1/2 inch gap)...the item that i used off of my turbo is the return line(the ix turbo flange was angled and the oil pan on the 03 is straight...refering to the bolts)

but just for kicks the difference between the 03 16g to the 06 16g

--ix turbo is on the left
--i was shocked that there was a difference

----i dont know how much of a difference there is because at the same time i did the following...3 in downpipe, o2 housing, 3in tbe(did not want to get a flash until i had a true tbe)...i did this all at the same time because im heading out to the raceway on friday for some fun...

--do you guys know the time range i should get?...considering a good launch and 60'ft times?

thanks in advance

Maybe its my browser, but I don't see the pictures. Either way, your going to notice a very big difference.

*Edit: I see the pics now, very nice indeed.*

You're hitting fuel cut becuase you're overboosting. You need to get a MBC on the car asap to limit the boost you're making. You might be making as much as 25-26psi now. The IX turbo is flowing way more air and you need an exhaust and a tune that can compensate for that.

I don't think it's a good idea to take the car to the track until you have a full exhaust and tune.

God doesn't want me to have one, nor does he want me to hit 11s (e.g. 12.000) = PWNT.

i think i was hitting fuel cut due to the k&n filter i had on but i installed the stock intake and now it actually runs better...took my car to the track today and hit a 13.3@ 103.4mph...its a little slow but my 60'ft times were 2.0 secs(i need to get it lower)...this was actually the first time i've race on a legal track so i think i did pretty good...other evos there werent doing so good (mostly because many of them are new owners), 14.1-13.9 with basic mods and some stock...the track however was okay but a little sticky imo...78 degrees was the temp

--i know much can be improved, the driver and car, but as far ix turbo goes, i want to see some numbers and will prob. get this thing tuned
