SMC alky problem

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my SMC alky kit. It's been installed for about a week and the controller always had the LED on for the low level (fine because the tank wasnt filled) I filled the tank today with denatured alcohol, and when I went back and started the car, no lights were lit up on the controller. Did anyone else experience this problem? I checked the fuse and its still good, I didn't change any connections, just filled it up with alcohol. Getting tuned tomorrow so any help asap would be appriciated. Thanks

Did you remember to connect the ground on the tank? Do you have a wideband in the car?

I read your post 3 times and I tried to make sense to your issue.

You said that your low level light was on because you had no alcohol on the tank. Ok , that sounds normal.
Then you said that you filled the tank with alcohol and the light turned off (red led). Ok , that is normal also.

At this point you are saying that non of the lights are on. Ok this is the fastet T shooting step you have to follow:

1) push the test bottom and see if it lits. It should lit amber. If it lits that tells you that you Armed green light is blown.
2) Empty the tank real quick, you red led light should lit.
3) Last but not least. Push the test bottom, you should hear the pump working. If you don't hear it then your controller isn't working.

If none of the T shooting steps mentioned above work then you aren't getting power to the controller.

Please let me know. I have a spare SMC kit laying around my garage and I can do further testing for you.

sorry for the bad grammar. I pushed the test button (that was the first thing I tried) and the amber light (spray light) did not turn on. I just figured i'd check here and see if anyone had any quick suggestions before I called Steve.

If you say that none of the lights lit even after spraying with the test buttom it sounds to me like you are not getting power to the controller at all.

I just went out and tested the sprayer, no pump activation and no led's. I checked the fuse that comes off the controller and replaces the windshield wiper fuse and that is good. Is there a fuse in the controller itself? I really hope my controller isn't fried.
