ACD - Thoughts on using the E-brake

As most know, the ACD unlocks the center diff when the E-brake is pulled so the front and rear wheels can spin at different rates and the torque to the wheels is equal. Most then think that the center diff is protected from excess loads when you yank on the E-brake. I'm not so sure this is correct since the front tires would have to immediately start spinning twice as fast or the engine would immediately have to spin twice as slow. The rear wheels aren't suddenly disconnected from the drive-train, the diff still works as an open diff. The sudden locking of the rears wheels would still send a tremendous amount of torque to the diff. Even if the ACD can take that kind of stress, I doubt I'll ever try.

I'm sure someone has tried E-brake turns with their ACD equipped Evo, am I right?
